Measures against Covid-19 in the holiday cottages

Do you want to know the measures against Covid-19 in rural tourism accommodation in Catalonia?
The ICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality) has developed a health guarantee protocol for the rural houses and rural tourism accommodation sector to face Covid-19 and to make your stay as safe as possible.
Rural houses for rent by rooms
- Guarantee the minimum safety distance of 2 meters in common spaces
- Using the mask
- Periodically ventilate the bedroom
- Frequent hand sanitization with hydroalcoholic gel or soap and water
- Payment is preferably made by bank card or bank transfer
- Cleaning and disinfection of dining room tables at each meal.
Full rental rural houses
- Guarantee the minimum safety distance of 2 meters in common spaces
- Using the mask
- Periodically ventilate the spaces of the house
- Frequent hand sanitization with hydroalcoholic gel or soap and water
- Payment is preferably made by bank card or bank transfer
- Wash dishes in very hot water or use the house dishwasher.
In addition, the following measures are also applied globally:
- Bed linen and towels are washed at least at 60ºC
- The cleaning staff wears the mask at all times and uses the hydroalcoholic gel to disinfect their hands
- Sets of keys are disinfected in each stay
- Swimming pools use water disinfection systems
