Girona is 26 km away, while Roses is 30 km away. The nearest airport is Girona-Costa Brava, located 25 km away.
The village is geographically located in about 30 minutes by car to the towns of Figueres, Banyoles, Girona and 15 minutes to the beaches of l'Escala, Costa Brava.
In the village there is a train station with direct lines to Girona, Figueres, Llança, Barcelona. There is a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, organic vegetable shop, Can Gou luxury products and a beautician.
